One of the most powerful aspects of the Y-Malawi program is the opportunity to go personally and see the need first hand, and also experience what God is doing through each of the Y-Malawi partners. There are no words to describe the feeling of seeing your family’s sponsored child for the first time as they hold up a sign with your name on it. These are things that must be experienced in person and it’s all possible with Y-Malawi.

Y-Malawi offers two types of trips. Vision trips are for churches that are not yet involved that want to explore firsthand what adopting a community in Malawi would look like. Serving trips are for churches that have joined the Y-Malawi partnership and provide unique serving opportunities such as youth outreaches, medical missions, men’s or women’s ministries, and much more.
